E-Commerce Manager

We are seeking an organized, innovative and passionate E-Commerce Manager to lead day to day operations of our global e-commerce site with a focus on analytical strategies and a sales driven mindset. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic and tactical e-commerce initiatives and successfully driving the realization of online sales growth for both men’s and women’s collections. A key to your success will be a strong understanding of product positioning, online merchandising, and innovative processes that result in the best customer experience.   

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
  • Reports to the Head of Marketing and E-Commerce
  • Collaborates with:         
    • Internal – Wholesale Sales, Design and Development, Inventory and Planning, Production and Fulfillment, and Customer Service
    • External – Advertising/Marketing Agency, Third Party App Developers, Website Developers
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Day-to-day website operations including but not limited to merchandising, inventory scrubbing, collection refreshes, content updates and all refreshes across the online storefront
  • Oversee the management of third-party partners and applications in the Shopify Plus ecosystem
  • Manage overall online sales goals and present and implement a strategic approach to achieve target budgets month by month. 
  • Drive a digital marketing strategy to support and achieve online sales goals and digital engagement
    • Develop and implement ad creative in partnership with third party agency
  • Regularly evaluate and recommend new digital opportunities
  • Stay current on digital trends and industry best practices through educational opportunities, conferences, webinars, publications and professional networks
  • Collaborate with marketing team members for targeted email and SMS marketing and automated campaigns/flows
  • Work cross-functionally to complete project briefs in support of product launches, campaigns, brand initiatives, social media initiatives, and deliver full e-commerce requirements to graphic design and marketing
  • Support the Head of Marketing in special projects and initiatives including holiday promotions, photo shoots, press requests and brand collaborations
  • Collaborate with the direct-to-consumer teams and Customer Service lead to gain insights into customer experience to maximize the online experience
  • Manage analytics for the overall site performance including but not limited to the below
    • Define, track and analyze website KPI’s, and work with the overall Marketing team to prioritize and implement site optimizations in the form of A/B testing, new features and functionality for improved user experience
    • Provide data analysis to upper management along with strategic solutions for increased sales and improved performance
    • Utilize Google Analytics for customer journey understanding and to guide merchandising best practices and targeted marketing recommendations

 SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor degree required (preferably in Marketing or Business Administration)
  • 3+ years leading e-commerce activities
  • Adept at digital marketing strategies and website design that target customer segments for successful sales
  • Experience with Shopify Plus and online payment systems
  • Experience with consumer outreach platforms such as Klaviyo and Attentive
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a team driven environment
  • Preferred experience in the apparel industry or similar consumer products
  • Detail oriented and self-motivator comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Solution driven mentality
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
