Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a positive and energetic Inventory Coordinator to work full-time at our studio in West Ashley. Your role is crucial to the efficiency of day-to-day operations at Brackish. In this vital role, you will monitor and oversee the receiving, labeling, and storing of incoming raw material shipments. You will also access incoming stock for damages, keep a concise and accurate record of raw material and finished goods inventory levels, and accurately fill production orders demands.

The successful Inventory Coordinator will be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to keep accurate records while tracking incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.

  • Receive, process, label, and store incoming stock from domestic and international vendors
  • Maintain clear records of all inventory and stock in our ERP system
  • Inspect all incoming stock for damages and keep records of damages
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Department when receiving all products; ensuring the counts match the order document
  • Record exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Efficiently operate stock management tools; for example, rack locations
  • Sort inventory according to products classification
  • Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly per schedule
  • Regularly monitor inventories in the ERP, and make all adjustments, corrections, and changes according to established procedures; investigate the root cause for any discrepancies and initiate actions to reduce or eliminate the recurrence of future discrepancies
  • Communicate all adjustments and corrections made in the ERP that have any financial impact on the P&L or balance sheet to Operations and Finance
  • Maintain optimal physical inventory organization to minimize quantity / count errors
  • Implement inventory control procedures and company-wide SOPs to:
    • Maintain accuracy between physical inventory quantities and values and quantities in the ERP system.
    • Minimize stock-outs
  • Track and update the finished goods inventory and communicate with fulfillment and sales
  • Maintain an efficient warehouse organization
  • Adhere to all safety standards and operating procedures

    • Minimum Associates Degree


      • Experience with inventory control and software
      • Proficiency in relevant computer applications including MS Word and Excel
      • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
      • Collaborative team player
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
      • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
