On June 6, 2026, Carson & Andrew tied the knot at The Gibbes Museum in Charleston, South Carolina. Complete with stunning art, RSVP Ready friends & family, and feathered bow ties, this wedding truly captured magical moments.

We recently had the opportunity to speak with the newlyweds about their wedding. Below is an inside scoop into how their wedding became such a special moment.

How did you & your partner meet?

"We met in 6th grade at Moultrie Middle School where we became the best of friends. We started dating junior year of high school. High school sweethearts!"

What was your wedding inspiration?

"A downtown Charleston summer wedding, traditional with a modern flair."

What was one piece of advice you took from wedding planning?

"Find the joy in the small moments! It goes by so fast."

What made you feel most confident on your special day?

"Being surrounded by all our favorite people - answered prayers."

How did you choose your Brackish piece? Was it a personal connection, for the aesthetics, for a unique touch, etc?

"We gifted Carson's Dad the Edisto Bow Tie on our wedding day. Edisto is a special place to us and it felt like the perfect addition to our perfect day! It is also where we got engaged. Andrew chose the Green Pond Bow tie so he could stand out from his groomsmen - and it transitioned perfectly from his black tuxedo at the ceremony to his white dinner jacket he wore to the reception."

What story did you hope your wedding day would tell?

"We wanted our wedding day to tell the story of two best friends beginning a lifetime together, surrounded by the people who have loved and shaped us. We hoped every moment reflected joy, gratitude, and the importance of family while honoring those who are with us in spirit. More than anything, we wanted our guests to leave feeling that they witnessed something genuine, full of love, warmth, and the promise of forever. When the formalities were over, we wanted everyone to let loose, fill the dance floor, and celebrate alongside us creating unforgettable memories, laughing together, and ending the night with the kind of joy that everyone will remember for years to come."

What detail, big or small, took your breath away when you saw it on the wedding day?

"Seeing everything come together was completely breath taking. We saw all the bits and pieces, but seeing it all as one was truly amazing. Shoutout to Shannon with Hill & Co Creative for making our dreams come true."

How did each of you approach choosing your wedding day look? Did you lean into tradition, trend, or something more personal?

"We both leaned more towards tradition while maintaining our own sense of style and featuring unique pieces."

Cheers to the Happy Couple
