Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Embroidery Sewing Specialist to work Monday – Friday days at our studios in West Ashley. Using an industrial embroidery machine, you will embroider fabric components and monograms that are used in the hand-crafted production of Brackish products.
What You Will Do
· Following prototypes, embroider new line of men’s and women’s hats
· Following prototypes, embroider specialized monogramming on men’s bowties
· Complete finished pieces on-time while ensuring all stitching and closures are clean and secure
· Ensure production order requirements and quality assurance targets are met
· Seek improved embroidery and sewing techniques to enhance products
Education
Minimum High School degree
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Industrial sewing machine skills
● Industrial embroidery skills
● Hand sewing skills
● Experience with multiple needle commercial portable embroidery machines (Advance by ColDesi a plus)
● Knowledge of Monogramming and Applique Techniques
● Knowledge of Hat Embroidery
● Collaborative team player
● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
● Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
