Weddings by Brackish - A Chloe & Brent Spotlight

Posted by Brackish Team on

On November 9, 2024, Chloe & Brent tied the knot on Walnut Hill Farm in Dalton, Georgia. Filled with feathers, family, and friends, this wedding was a southern fall dream. Brackish was honored to be featured on this special day, complete with bow ties, plum thicket pins, and statement earrings

We recently had the opportunity to speak with the newlyweds about their wedding. Below is an inside scoop into how their wedding became such a special moment.

How did you & your partner meet?

“We met at Barnsley Gardens in Georgia. Brent was working at the Upland Hunting Preserve and Chloe spent a summer as an intern there. Once the summer ended, he started visiting her at Auburn and after that was history.”

What was your Wedding Inspiration?

“Our wedding inspiration was definitely Garden & Gun. Vintage and classy hunting decor is definitely our style, and our wedding perfectly captured that!”

What was one piece of advice you took from wedding planning?

“My biggest advice is to not lose focus on the whole point of getting married - Your wedding day is about making a covenant with God and one another. Focus on each other and truly enjoy the day! Weddings are such a blessing!”

What made you feel most confident on your special day?

“My confidence on wedding day came from knowing that I had chosen the right person to spend forever with, and spending the morning getting ready surrounded by all my favorite people.”

How did you choose your Brackish piece(s)? Was it a personal connection, for the aesthetics, for a unique touch, etc?

“I have always been in love with ALL Brackish items so there was no doubt they would be part of the wedding day. I completed my wedding look with the Jane Statement Earring, Peoria Multi-Bezel Cuff, and the Alba Thin Cuff, while Brent wore the Beckham Pin. I bought each bridesmaid a pair of the Marjan Statement Earrings and Brent bought each groomsmen the Cogdell Pin. My dad sported the Original Bow Tie on the day as well. Our color was a mix of browns/whites so we chose pieces that fit our theme for the weekend!”

What story did you hope your wedding day would tell?

“We wanted our wedding day to capture the love we share with not only one another, but with the people who surround us, and our love for the outdoors. We both think our wedding day perfectly captured all of that (and our AMAZING photographer Ansley Suddeth)!”

What detail, big or small, took your breath away when you saw it on the wedding day?

“My bouquet - I had always dreamed of having a full bouquet of dried flowers and pheasant feathers. My mom spent the last month leading up to the wedding hand making my bouquet, along with the rest of my bridesmaids bouquets. Seeing the finalized product on our wedding day was so special!”

How did each of you approach choosing your wedding day look? Did you lean into tradition, trend, or something more personal?

“Our favorite season is fall for many reasons - the weather, hunting season, the beautiful colors of nature, etc. We wanted our wedding to mimic those beautiful fall browns and oranges, so that is exactly what we did!”

If your accessories could narrate your style story as a couple, what would they say?

“I would say timeless and intentional - Our Brackish pieces were perfectly chosen by us to elevate our wedding theme and highlight the details!”

What song was a must-have on the wedding day playlist?

“I walked down the aisle to “I walk the Line” by Johnny Cash, but we had someone playing it instrumentally in a slowed down version. It was definitely the highlight of the wedding and now our favorite song!”

Cheers to the Happy Couple
