Wholesale Sales Manager
Position Overview
The Wholesale Sales Manager candidate excels at prospecting, planning, executing, and managing accounts across men’s and women’s retail stores spanning multiple geographies. The primary objective of this role is to meet annual revenue targets by leading a small team that focuses on serving existing accounts and building new accounts in specific geographic regions. The successful sales leader will have a deep knowledge of the Brackish brand, our products, and our sales processes in order to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
What You Will Do
- In collaboration with the Head of Sales & Merchandising, develop annual sales budget and account plan by customer
- Create sales strategy to execute and achieve annual targets
- Manage and attend key market/trade shows and visit stores to maintain and develop relationships, understand their customer, and to continue to grow the Brackish brand
- Provide continuous input to Merchandising and Product Development on customer product feedback
- Assign team responsibilities for prospecting new accounts in designated regions
- Teach team members how to own and manage new assigned accounts by building strong relationships, providing outstanding service, and building an account plan
- Track and report monthly/quarterly sales and provide qualitative feedback to management
- Understand and become proficient in order taking and CRM platform and manage accounts within
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute wholesale email campaigns
Education
- Bachelor's degree - focus in business administration, fashion merchandising or liberal arts preferred
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in retail sales or wholesale sales; strong preference for apparel, fashion, or accessory sales
- Minimum 2 years as a sales manager
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Team player
- Ability to travel at least 2x month, including some weekends
