Wholesale Sales Manager

Position Overview

The Brackish Wholesale Sales Manager will excel at leading the wholesale and corporate department channels. You and your team will prospect, plan, execute, and manage accounts across our men’s and women’s sales channels spanning multiple geographies. The driving objective of this role is to meet annual revenue targets with a strong focus on serving and growing existing accounts and building new accounts. The successful sales leader will have a deep knowledge of the Brackish brand, our products, and our sales processes to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a sales vision and strategy for Brackish that is consistent with achieving the short- and long-term strategic goals of the company
  • Develop an annual, calendarized sales budget by customer and sales channel that aligns with company objectives and financial targets
  • Create sales strategies by channel (wholesale and corporate) and account plans to achieve annual targets
  • Manage and attend key market/trade shows and visit client stores to maintain and develop relationships, understand their customers, and continue to grow the Brackish brand
  • Oversee all aspects of corporate orders: communication and product selection, attending the event and reconciling any orders after the event, if needed
  • Provide continuous input to Merchandising and Product Development on customer product feedback
  • Creatively prospect future trade shows that are on-brand and with strong sales potential
  • Assign team responsibilities for prospecting new accounts in designated regions
  • Coach team members how to own and manage new assigned accounts by building strong relationships, providing outstanding service, and building account plans
  • Track and report monthly/quarterly sales by sales channel and provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to management
  • Understand and become proficient with the SAP platform
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute wholesale email campaigns

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, fashion merchandising, or liberal arts
  • Minimum 5 years in retail sales or wholesale sales management; strong preference for apparel, fashion, or accessory sales
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel at least 2x month, including some weekends
