As we prepare for all that the new year has to offer, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the impactful events of 2021.
A Fresh Look
Earlier this year, we adjusted our identity to better-reflect the state of our work – we are Brackish. In addition, we gave our website a fresh look with features that make your shopping experience more convenient from start to finish.
Our team developed several new silhouettes to expand our women’s accessory collection. These new categories include: teardrop stud earrings, crescent earrings, grecian-inspired statement earrings and statement necklaces.
A Coastal Icon
We also released our first full non-feather accessory collection – the Horseshoe Crab Collection. We went to the Brackish waters for inspiration, which led us to the unmistakable silhouette of the horseshoe crab and other low country elements.
Brackish Gives Back
In honor of Brackish VIP, Chelsea Oswald, we donated a portion of all sales from our new double sided hoop collection throughout the month of October to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
Our pieces adorned two long-time Brackish celebrities this year. Don Cheadle sported our best-selling Guinea bow tie at the Oscars, and Cam Newton donned our Carew bow tie on the cover of Cigar Aficionado.
Made in the South
We were honored to have been named the 2021 Garden & Gun Made in the South Award Winner in the Style category. These awards represent a prestigious group of talented creatives among whom we are proud to have our work recognized.
Brackish on Today
Co-founders Ben and Jeff represented Brackish on the Today Show’s Small Business Marketplace in November of 2021, as co-host Craig Melvin’s featured brand of choice. We were honored by this milestone opportunity to share our story and our work.
